Testing Services
Custom test systems for the measurements that actually matter.
ITM builds and deploys data acquisition and test systems for product validation, R&D, production testing, and field characterization — engineered around your test article, your environment, and your data requirements.

NI LabVIEW & iTestSystem software integration
What We Test
Off-the-shelf test systems aren’t built for your test article.
Generic DAQ systems and off-the-shelf data loggers often fall short when the test article is complex, the environment is harsh, or the channel count and sample rate requirements go beyond what packaged solutions handle. And when the data quality matters — in structural validation, safety testing, or product certification — you need more than a box of hardware and a manual.
ITM designs complete test systems around your measurement requirements — from sensor selection and signal conditioning through DAQ hardware, test software, and data analysis. We bring the engineering so you can focus on the test.
Applications we routinely support:
- Structural load testing
- Fatigue & durability testing
- Vibration & shock testing
- Thermal cycle testing
- NVH characterization
- Hydraulic & pneumatic testing
- Production end-of-line testing
- Field data acquisition
- Proof-of-concept testing
- Engine & powertrain testing
Capabilities
Full-stack test engineering — sensor to report.
We deliver complete test solutions — not just hardware. From requirements definition through test execution and data analysis, ITM handles the full scope.

- Automated test sequences & stimulus control
- Real-time alarm & limit monitoring
- Automated PDF & Excel report generation
- TDMS, CSV, and ASAM MDF data export
Our Process
How ITM delivers a test system — start to finish.
- Step 01 — Requirements — We start with your test objectives — channels, sample rates, environments, and acceptance criteria — and translate them into a system specification.
- Step 02 — Design — Sensor selection, DAQ architecture, signal conditioning, software architecture, and enclosure design — reviewed with your team before build.
- Step 03 — Build — We assemble, wire, and bench-validate the complete system — including software — before it ships or is deployed on-site.
- Step 04 — Commission — On-site installation, sensor installation, shakedown testing, and operator training — we stay until the system is running correctly.
- Step 05 — Support — Post-test data analysis, system modifications as your test program evolves, calibration services, and long-term technical support.
Applications
Industries and test types we serve.
Aerospace & Defense
Structural & Flight Load Testing
High-channel-count strain and load measurement systems for structural validation of airframes, components, and ground support equipment. Synchronized multi-chassis DAQ with real-time limit monitoring and automated test reporting.
Automotive & Powertrain
NVH & Durability Testing
Multi-channel vibration, acoustic, and strain testing for NVH characterization, durability validation, and component fatigue. LabVIEW-based test applications with automated data reduction and reporting to internal standards.
Industrial & Heavy Equipment
Load Capacity & Proof Testing
Structural proof load testing for cranes, hoists, lifting fixtures, and industrial platforms. ITM provides the complete test package — gauges, DAQ, software, and certified test reports — for safety and compliance requirements.
R&D & Product Development
Prototype Validation & Characterization
Flexible, reconfigurable test systems for R&D programs where test requirements evolve. We design systems that grow with your program — adding channels, signal types, and automation as your validation needs expand.
Why ITM
Test engineers, not just hardware vendors.
Deep Measurement Expertise
Our engineers have hands-on experience with strain gauge installation, signal conditioning, and the subtle sources of measurement error that can invalidate a test result.
LabVIEW & iTestSystem Specialists
We’re NI Alliance Partners with years of LabVIEW and iTestSystem development experience — meaning the software is as strong as the hardware in every system we deliver.
Field-Ready Systems
Our test systems are built to survive the field — ruggedized enclosures, strain-relief wiring, weatherproofing, and connector choices that hold up to industrial and outdoor test environments.
Single Point of Accountability
One team owns sensors, hardware, software, and support. When something isn’t right with the data, you call one number and we fix it — no sub-vendor blame game.
Get Started
Have a test coming up? Let’s talk through it.
Whether you need a complete DAQ system, strain gauge instrumentation, or just the software to tie it all together — ITM can scope it, build it, and support it.
