Senior Technical Consultant, Integrated Test and Measurement (ITM)

Over the past 40 plus years, Garth has led numerous structural dynamic test and finite element analysis projects for the automotive, aerospace, consumer product, electric power, off-highway, and heavy manufacturing industries. He is an expert in structural dynamics design validation and problem-solving through integrating operating testing, modal testing, and finite element analysis disciplines.

Today, in addition to his consultant role at Integrated Test and Measurement (ITM), Garth serves as senior project engineer at SixDOF Testing & Analysis, Inc., where he develops new accounts for SixDOF’s engineering services business; develops proposals defining technical approach and costing; and manages SixDOF’s engineering services projects.

Garth also brings more than a decade of experience in mechanical engineering software product management, marketing, and engineering services project management to his role as technical consultant for itm. He is proficient in defining software market requirements, product positioning, and pricing; leading software development planning via multi-functional teams; developing competitive evaluations; and negotiating partner and re-selling agreements.

Prior to his experience at SixDOF, Garth served as business development manager at Manta Corporation, where he managed projects involving structural dynamics applications. Prior to that, he served as a product/marketing manager at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC), where he led the development of many software products; managed engineering services projects involving both finite element analysis and structural measurement and testing technologies; and supervised a team of 20 test engineers and technicians.

He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
